Deputy Chairman of the Committee Elchin Shirinov and expert Gartal Huseynov attended the meeting, Committee Chairman Tural Huseynov told APA.
The committee chairman said that Safarov had no complaints about the conditions of detention and the attitude towards him.
"No facts of inhuman treatment or torture against Safarov were recorded. He had no complaints about the conditions of detention and said that he was not tortured. As you know, after committing the armed attack, Yunis Safarov tried to flee the scene and resisted police officers who wanted to detain him. The policeman had to use force within the law when he tried to disarm Safarov,” Huseynov added.
