No date has yet been set for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Azerbaijan, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral said on Wednesday, APA reported.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Erdogan would pay a visit to Azerbaijan following his participation in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.
The 72nd session of the UN General Assembly is due to kick off in New York on September 12.
The Turkish leader will join debated in the General Assembly on September 19-25.
Erdogan’s visit to Azerbaijan was scheduled for September 10-11, but was postponed.
