An exhibition marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan opened at the Russian State Duma on Feb. 7.
Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament) Ogtay Asadov and Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, co-organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia, an APA correspondent reported from Moscow.
The exhibition was the first exposition in the State Duma devoted to a foreign state. The concept of the exhibition is based on the fact that Azerbaijan is an ancient and rapidly developing modern country with a rich history.
At the same time, the exhibition demonstrates materials reflecting friendly relations, mutually beneficial cooperation and developing cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
