A book signed by famous Azerbaijani poet Mikayil Mushfig’s spouse Dilbar Akhundzade has been found in Crimea, Rahim Humbatov, leader of the Azerbaijani community in Crimea, told APA on Friday.
Titled "Mikayil Mushfig. His works and poems,” the book was found while literature was being collected for an "Azerbaijani corner” in Crimea, said Humbatov.
"The book was given to me by an active member of the community. The book contains poems by Mikayil Mushfig. The date is given as 1968. What seems to be the case is that the book might have possibly been given to his relative Ms Gulsum,” he said.
Humbatov added that the book will be given to one of the libraries or museums in Azerbaijan.
